Step aboard a comfortable motor coach for an unforgettable journey through the city’s most significant landmarks and best local flavors.

Savor a full lunch at Off the Bone BBQ, an award-winning favorite known for its post oak smoked meats. Enjoy a platter with your choice of one meat and two sides—a true Texas treat!

Indulge in dessert at Kessler Cookie Company, a James Beard semifinalist in Oak Cliff, famous for crafting some of the best (and biggest!) cookies in Dallas. Each guest will receive a cookie of their choice.

Historical Stops Include:

  • Joppee Community – One of the oldest Freedmen’s towns in Texas.
  • Pan African Bookstore – A cultural hub celebrating African heritage.
  • Martyrs Park – Honoring those who fought for civil rights.
  • Knights of the Pythias Building – A striking piece of Dallas’ architectural history.
  • St. Paul United Methodist Church – A pillar of the community since 1873.
  • Freedman’s Cemetery – A tribute to formerly enslaved individuals and their legacy.
